# ⚡ 20ESPORTS – Quickplay-Anleitung

# ⚡ 20ESPORTS – Quick Play Guide

*Choose a game, find a match, confirm, and play.*

With **Quickplay**, you are automatically matched with other players. You do not need to create your own lobby: choose a game and format, start searching, and confirm the match when one is found.

## 1. 🔐 Sign in and open Quickplay

Sign in to the 20ESPORTS website and open **Quickplay**. The page also shows which games and formats currently have players searching.

## 2. 🎮 Configure your search

Choose the options you want:

| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| **Game** | The game you want to play. |
| **Format** | 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, or 6v6, if enabled for the selected game. |
| **Rating** | **Ranked** for Elo-rated matches or **Unranked** without Elo. |
| **External game server** | Only required if no suitable internal server is available or you want to provide an external server. Enter the address including the port, e.g. `123.45.67.89:27015`. |
| **Search with friends** | If the friend selector is shown, you can add friends to your party. Your party stays together. |

The format represents the team size on each side. For example, a 5v5 match requires ten players in total. Your friend party may be smaller than the selected team size, but it cannot be larger.

**Important for external servers:** Players are matched only within compatible search groups. The game, format, Ranked/Unranked setting, and external server address must match for players to be grouped together. Enter the external address exactly and coordinate it with your teammates.

Click **Find Match**.

## 3. 🔎 Wait for players

Once the search starts, Quickplay displays the current search and the number of players found.

- The count updates automatically.
- You can stop searching at any time using **Cancel Search**.
- You can share the search so other players can join.

The queue needs enough compatible players to fill the selected format.

## 4. ⏱️ Accept the match

When a match is found, a confirmation card appears with a **40-second** countdown.

- Click **Accept Match** to confirm your participation.
- If you cannot play, select **Decline**.
- All players must accept within the time limit before the match is created and released.

If not everyone confirms in time, the match confirmation can expire and you may need to start searching again. Watch the timer and remain available while confirming.

## 5. 🎮 Open the match and mark yourself ready

Once all players have accepted, click **Open Match** to go to the match page.

You can view the match details and both teams there. Click **Ready** when you are ready to play. Once all participants have confirmed their readiness, the match moves to the live state.

## 6. 🗺️ Map veto and server

If map veto is enabled for the selected game, it becomes available on the match page during the live match. Follow the on-screen instructions and take the action currently allowed. The map pool and veto process depend on the game's configuration.

For games that require a dedicated game server, an internal server is assigned through the server manager. If an external server was used for the search, that address is associated with the match; GameAP does not start or stop the external server.

Some games—such as games played through their own lobby system—do not require a 20ESPORTS game server. The selected game's configuration determines this.

## 7. 💬 Communicate during the match

Use the match chat to coordinate with the other players. Match status and supported live information update on the match page.

## 8. 📝 Submit the result

During a live match, the designated team captains submit the score for their side.

1. Open the **Result** section.
2. Enter Team A’s and Team B’s scores.
3. Click **Submit Result**.
4. The opposing side must submit its result as well.

If both submissions match, the match is completed. If the scores differ, the match enters a dispute state that the appropriate host or an admin can resolve.

## 9. 🏆 Ranked, Unranked, and leaderboards

- **Ranked:** A valid completed match can change your game-specific Quickplay rating.
- **Unranked:** The match is played without Elo scoring.
- **Quickplay leaderboard:** Quickplay has its own leaderboard and match history, separate from Community Gather.

Your displayed rating is tied to the selected game. A result in one game does not automatically change your rating in another game.
